- Pay Range: $25-$35 per hour depending on experience
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in residential HVAC services.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- EPA Certificate (Preferred)
- Must be able to lift or carry heavy objects of up to 50 pounds to include ductwork, furnaces or materials.
- Excellent communicator with internal and external customers
- High energy individual who demonstrates confidence, accountability, and professionalism
- Must be coachable and willing to learn new things
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- Must pass background and drug screen
Essential Job Functions:
- Troubleshoot and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
- Performs preventive maintenance on equipment to prevent equipment failure by cleaning air handling systems and reheat coils, monitoring and calibrating air handling systems and replacing filters, motors, fans, belts, etc. on systems.
- Locate and diagnose problems, assess extent of repairs and describe options and associated costs to the customer. Provides a description of diagnosed problems to customer in terms that can be understood with options, as possible.
- Assists with repairs of complete systems to include repairing, calibrating or replacing controls, switches, thermostats, transformers, gauges, wiring fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, piping and other functional components of the system.
- Completes all required documentation on services, explains guarantees/warranties and records
Install, repair, replace, or clean refrigerant lines, fans, appliance vents, smoke detectors, humidifiers, and grills, as appropriate. - Ensures that all HVAC repairs and installations are accurate, serviceable and that materials used meets the requirements and safety standards/regulatory codes.

Qualifications:
- 2+ years of residential and/or light commercial service/install experience.
- Knowledge of applicable installation and venting codes.
- Proven track record in heating and cooling systems including ability to draw simple diagrams, read blueprints and other diagrams.
- Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices, air balancing principles and techniques, and familiarity with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
- Complete all HVAC system installations efficiently and accurately.
- Build strong customer relationships, build knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs and expectations.
- Comply with service standards, work instructions and customers’ requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High integrity with the strong desire to be better tomorrow than you are today.
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.
Physical Demands:
- Must be physically able to be on feet 8 hours a day.
- Must be physically able to perform strenuous labor including lifting heavy objects (75lbs. and up) on a daily basis.
- Must be able to work in extreme heat and cold.
- Must be able to climb up and down a ladder numerous times throughout the day
